Not sure if this is a bug or a setting that I’m not aware of.
When recording calls on my Mac app, all seems to work fine, but when I listen back to the recording. I can hear the person I’m speaking to clearly, but my own volume is almost nothing. Clearly the system has picked it up as my transcript is fine, but I cant hear it back.
Anyone else had this? Is it known and going to be addressed? Or is it a setting that I just havent seen?
Hey! Pocket records your microphone and call audio separately, so the transcript can still be accurate even if your mic is much quieter in playback.
In Pocket, check that the correct microphone is selected. Then open macOS System Settings → Sound → Input, select that same mic, raise its input volume, and confirm the level meter moves normally while you speak. After that, try a short test recording.
If your voice is still very quiet, please share your Pocket app version, macOS version, and which microphone you’re using so we can investigate.
