Problem
Pocket captures audio beautifully, but a lot of the calls I record carry their real content on screen, not in speech. Demos, voice agent QA, design reviews, and technical walkthroughs all involve something being shown. The transcript captures what was said and loses what was on screen at that moment.
Proposed solution
In the Mac and Windows desktop apps, while a recording is running, let me capture a screenshot and pin it to the timeline at the current timestamp. One hotkey or one button, screenshot saved against that moment in the transcript.
Behaviour
The screenshot shows as a marker on the recording timeline, viewable inline in the transcript and summary at the point it was taken. Clicking it jumps to that moment. An optional one-line caption on capture makes markers self-describing.
Use cases
Demo recordings where the visual belongs with the narration, voice agent QA where I’m flagging a specific UI state or error, technical reviews where someone shares a diagram or config, any visual moment worth returning to.
Nice to have
Capture a chosen window rather than the full desktop, and include markers with their screenshots in exports.
