I have some misspelling in some names in the summary which I would like to edit. I can do this manually one-by-one, but thought it would be possible via the AI. However, when I ask the change X to Z in the summary, it generates new text in the chat-wiindow without edditing the summary. I don’t want to regenrate the summary is this would produce a complete new output, I just want to replace certain names and spelling, just like a “search and replace” function.

Hello!

You can edit the summary directly. Open the recording, tap the text you want to change, make the correction, and it’ll save automatically. For names or terms Pocket regularly gets wrong, add them under Profile → Word Dictionary so future recordings use the right spelling.

I’ll get that, but it’s cumbersome if a name is spelt wrong several times and you have to edit them one by one. Would be nice if you could say change this for that, without altering the rest of the text.

You can ask Pocket to make the change directly. In the summary, type something like “Change X to Y,” then review and accept the edit.

nope, that will show the text in the chat-window and doesn’t alter the summary. You can ask the pocket to change it in the summary, but that will regenerate the text and change it completely.

Hey! As a workaround, you can copy the summary into Google Docs, Word, or another text editor and use Find and Replace there. This would be a handy feature to have directly in Pocket, so please submit the idea at [feedback.heypocket.com](https://feedback.heypocket.com/) so our team can track it and other Pocket users can vote on it.

On the Android app version there is a find and replace option.

Click the 3 dots in the top right. Then click find and replace. This allows you to type a word then it asks if you want just this instance or all to change.

You’re right, also on the iPhone app, didn’t know that, thanks.
Would be nice if this comes to the desktop app as well. Even better, if you can inline edit the text with AI.
