How has the button operation changed with the introduction of the pause function after this week’s firmware v1.8 update?

Ask Pocket provided the following:

To pause and resume an active recording on your Pocket device, use the following controls:

  • Pause: Double-tap the side button. The LED will change from amber to white, indicating the recording is paused.
  • Resume: Single-tap or double-tap the side button again. The LED will return to amber.

You can also pause and resume recordings directly from within the Pocket app.

On mine, it’s F/W 1.8. Just got the notification and installed it.

Hi @Hein.Garbers,

The pause feature was introduced in firmware v1.8, not v1.7. Once you update, you’ll be able to pause and resume recordings using the side button and app controls as mentioned by Ask Pocket.
