I am trying to figure out if the Pocket recorder actually does sound activated recording on its on. And if it does how to turn it on.

I currently have an AI recorder that I don’t have to touch it to record my day. It auto records everything vis sound detection.

I was hoping Pocket would do the same, but so far it seems I have to manually start recording each time.

On there website it says go to Settings, general, and Recording to turn on auto record. But I don’t have a General section under settings in the android app.

Does the Pocket actually do Auto-Recording via sound detection on the standalone device, without it being connected to anything?

And if it does do this how do I turn it on?

Currently, sound-detection auto-recording isn’t supported directly on the standalone Pocket device.

Where we do offer meeting detection is through our desktop app ( Pocket ). When you are in a meeting on your computer, the desktop app will automatically detect it and prompt you to start a recording, so you don’t forget to capture your session.
