Tagging Transcript Segments

With tags landing, I think it makes sense to consider clearing up a current naming conflict, as right now we also call attaching a speaker profile to a segment “tagging.” Could we either:

  1. simply retire the word “tag” for speaker assignment to more clearly separate these features, or,
  2. run with it and make every segment a fully taggable entity, as are memories?
    • A speaker would just be a tag like speaker/Alice or just Alice
    • Later we could drop bookmark or quote tags on any segment for quick recall

Option 1 gives us clean separation today; option 2 sets us up for bookmarks and other features later on. Thoughts?

@dps I’ve been playing around with the tagging feature today. I’ve already made some suggestions that should come out soon. With that said, this does make sense so let’s see how this gets incorporated.
