# V9 firmware update

I have an Android so the step by step tutorial doesn’t apply to me. Has anyone else found a fix when the firmware v9 doesn’t connect?

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the app and the device.

Hi Vic. I already did 1 and 2 when I wrote the message. On 3, I don’t understand what you are asking. Connect the drive or my phone? I don’t have an OS on a Samsung.

Hi Tambaqui3!

Do you have a VPN on your Android phone? If so, disable it while updating - that was my fix.
