I don’t see the option to turn it off. Does it exist?
I’ve tried to live with it since it came out but it just adds noise to my list of recordings.
I actually can look at my list of recording titles and decide what the highlights were better.
I’ve looked for an switch to turn it off but can’t find one.

You can go into the Notification Tab in the Settings Page and disable it from there!

Hi @mhirrrr, has there been any change in Pocket where you can’t turn off highlights anymore?
Highlights came back Monday night and i have it turned off in the app.
I turned it back on and off just fyi.
I still can’t stop them.

hey @nyhunter77 the Send Highlights option needs to be turned off for highlights to go off. Did you change it?
yep, i changed it way back when i asked the first time. it’s still sending them as of yesterday
Additional: I see what you mean, it was off since before Christmas and was turned back on not by me then.
Also Web sync enabled keeps disabling. We worked on that once before.
I re-enabled it and updated my firmware. I hope it stays active now.
Just a comment, this turned back on a few days ago. It was called insights now instead of highlights so i didn’t know what to look for, i hope turning off highlights (again) will leave it off (again)

One more comment on this. This seems to be a pro feature now so it didn’t feel that great to be offered something that looked new but asked for pro without even seeing it.
I realized it was highlights though after a day or 2.
I’m not sure if posting here is better than starting a new issue but i don’t want to overrun your board with new conversations when they can be continued. Please advise.
I keep turning off Highlights and updating, so the full 2 step process but it keeps turning back on … it’s getting really annoying now.
I have to delete forever the insight and then turn off and update again the settings.
