Manage All Speakers from Settings

As a perfectionist, I try to properly tag all speakers in my recordings. I think the idea of adding a manage speakers section to our settings would be a huge help. This screen would be nearly identical to the “Rename Speaker“ screen, but add a few more options: rename existing speakers, delete existing speakers, and merge separate speaker profiles (I accidentally created separate speaker entities for the same person)

hey @dps I think we will set something up where you can also access which recordings a speaker and all is in should be something we do toward the end of this week/start of next but will make sure we have this in our dev pipeline thanks!

Very glad to hear that! Being able to update/merge existing speakers would greatly help clean up my speakers list!

I was just literally thinking about this idea this morning. I spent about 2 hours just laying the bed last night reading through transcripts and correcting speakers for meetings.

Can someone tell me how to get to the “Rename Speaker” page???

In the phone app -

  1. Click on a memory
  2. In the upper right hand corner click the ellipsis (3 little dots)
  3. Click View Transcript
  4. Click the Person icon (to the right of the reset arrow)

The above should bring you to a Speaker Overview

To rename a speaker click on the vertical ellipsis and click Add Speaker Name.
