Thanks! Deleted the old and downloaded the correct version from your link. This is way better! I will start using this now. Thanks for the quick note back.
When you go to regenerate a conversion, after clicking the summarize button the template screen stays up and looks like nothing happens. After you swipe down on the menu, you can see that it actually started to regenerate. Previously the template would automatically close after hitting the summarize button.
Also I just noticed that all of my global instructions that I had for my custom summary templates are all empty now.
checking this keeping you updated
Because I didn’t know that the regeneration was actually happening when I hit the button, it’s not letting me regenerate with the updated template because I’ve hit my maximum of 5 generations. Only hit the max because I was hitting the button over and over because it seemed like nothing was happening.
Hi there,
really enjoying the new interface! Two things I’m noticing so far:
after renaming a meeting (via Edit Conversation Title), after I exit the meeting and go back in the title reverts to whatever was defaulted. Would be nice if the change stuck ![]()
when I change the Speaker profile assignment within a summary, it changes the speaker assignments on other conversations. I know I’ve posted about this on the main board, but would really like for speaker assignments to NOT change assignments on other conversations. I’m fine with having the app initially predict who is speaking but if I overwrite it, I don’t want those overwrites affecting other conversations.
1st is fixed in the latest testflight
2nd we have an update on that coming in soon
we fixed this in the latest testflight!
this should be as well in latest testflight
The speaker name is not using in the summary after it’s been changed in the transcript. Also, regenerating the summary does correct the speaker name either.
hey @Dhut1832 there are two types of speaker names
- names that have been highlighted are there because the AI determined there were in the conversation
- normal names not highlighted are generated by your selected model (we are not able to update those as we do not track them)
looks like in the case you shared it might be the second case
edit -
expanding on the second point summaries might mention an name as it might have been taken during an conversation in this case we suggest using the summary rewrite features to make your intended changes. we build this feature as AI might make mistakes sometimes and this text box enables you to make the most accurate changes.
I’ve been on heavy travel and trying to catch up. Still no Android beta? Or did I miss it?
hey @Sassa!
We’ve rolled things out from beta, and all new changes can now directly be accessed from the latest play store/ app store build.
Beta track is now only used to test stability of new changes, and urgent bug fixes. These changes generally show up in the main app store/ play store build by the next day.
The issue I’m seeing is with the first option. Originally it showed the AI tagged speaker as the wrong person. I went into transcript, clicked on the speaker name and corrected them. The correct speaker name is showing for each transcript now, but when I go to the summary it’s still showing the original one.
you can click on the same on the summary itself and change. changing on the summary doesn’t change the name in the transcript it just replaces the speaker as we realized the AI might confuse context
Ok. I think you should probably make them connected. Not sure of any instance that someone would want to change the speaker in the transcripts but not want it to change in the summary as well. Or even if it’s that way the first time, if I regenerate with the speaker changes in the transcripts that it would associate that name in the regenerated summary.
so basically this can just be an llm error. The model might associate a certain point to a specific user. We try to provide as much context on changes as possible. So in that case please use the prompt to edit.
@mhirrrr Trying out the changes to the new better and realized I don’t have the option to adjust my text size anymore, and because it’s larger it’s being cut off in places
The names are showing in summary correct now when I update the speaker names in transcript and then regenerate.
@mhirrrr I’m not able to change the text under transcript section.
