Why is it not an option to connect apple calendar to desktop any longer? I had it connected previously.

Apple Calendar is currently supported through the Pocket app on iPhone. It uses Apple’s on-device calendar access, so calendar selection, permissions, and syncing must be managed from the iOS app. It isn’t available on Android.
Pocket Desktop currently supports direct connections to Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar. Apple events synced through an iPhone may appear on Desktop, but Desktop can’t directly connect or manage Apple Calendar.
