3D Printed Protective Bumper Case

I went ahead and made a small 1.2mm thick bumper to protect the pocket when setting it and phone on surfaces. I have an ohsnap grip on the back of my phone, so the 1.2mm gap isn’t an issue when attaching for me.

If you don’t own a printer and don’t have free access to one through your local library. CraftCloud has vendors that will make and ship them for about $21. Just upload the file, and select FDM TPU.

Update: The 3D print shop at my local university will have it made by tonight for $3! Thank you so much!

@taiguy - Thanks for the share! Super helpful!

I don’t suppose you’d be willing to create a version of this with an AirTag holder? I’m afraid I’ll lose mine

I don’t use airtags (android user) but I have the license set to non-commercial remix, so anybody else can modify as they see fit.

Haha I don’t have the skills to do it myself so I’m at the mercy of waiting for someone who does

Thank you so much for the pictures! Really gives more of an idea the coverage. It looks super good. You say my local library may have a printer? I’ll have to check it out!

I like that! I will post once I print one.

So awesome for you to model this and share it @taiguy. I know you are an Android user, are you at all able to test the attachment strength on an iPhone without a case?

Awesome. Thank you for sharing this
