Calendar Events - Refresh and Updates

Hi Folks, Events are not updated in Pocket’s calendar. Example, I removed an event and it still appears in Pocket’s calendar. I submitted a feature request here. Allow Pocket calendars to refresh so events are updated

For now, does anyone know of a workaround? As a professional coach I’m shuffling and deleting sessions and events, so it’s going to get messy. Thanks for the community’s feedback.

There is a post on here (somewhere) stating that the Google Calendars update every hour

Thanks for that note! Any chance there is something similar for iCal? I use iCal to aggregate 3 domains/accounts.

My google calendar doesn’t update at all. It’s been frustrating.

@mhirrrr I know you guys are working on a LOT. Just thought I’d see if there was and update on Google and Apple Calendar syncing/updating?

Yeah I coach multiple clients and they’ve had to do multiple edits to their appointments. Because there are multiple edits, and there are no refreshes, I had to go back and forth checking their appointments. This week I freaked out thinking I missed a coaching session. =( I really hope there is an update coming…

Hey @hubertvyee sorry for that! We are currently hoping to prioritise calendar for the next week. But we are not a calendar app! And still would suggest using Google Calendar (or your provider) for reminders. But rest assured we want to make sure we are the one stop solution for meeting reminder etc

Thanks @mhirrrr! I completely understand. I don’t need reminders actually. I just need to look at the calendar and know that events that have been rescheduled (like deleted and rescheduled) are updated. If I don’t use iCal to sync with Pocket and I directly sync different Google Calendar accounts, if a client of mine reschedules an event (deletes and rebooks) will Google Cals synced to Pocket be refreshed? Double checking here…

I’m having the same issue, updates to cancelled meetings are not showing up

Also can you change the view of the calendar, mine always shows starting on a Wednesday

Hi @mhirrrr, I’m using my pocket for a lot of calendar events. Yesterday a client of mine booked quite a number of sessions which get reflected in Pocket’s calendar. However 8/10 were flawed and I had to go and make adjustments to the time and day. This means for the next 10 weeks I need to recheck all of his appointments. Frustrating. Not sure if I miss an update or a fix for this. Is there a fix coming up for this?

Hey @hubertvyee we have a team dedicated to fixing calendars and experiences related to the same. We should have a release right after the new year that fixes all these issues

New Pocket owner here, and i have a question, pocket being connected to your calender is really a reminder to use the device during the meeting, correct. if you were on a meeting with headphones, Pocket could not help you, correct?

The Pocket Desktop version is in beta and can help with using headphones for meetings. You can find the Mac & PC links in this forum

@SM7 Can you repost the link for the latest PC version Been requesting it for several days now with no success. The version I have (v.0.1.3) appears to have issues. It’s non-responsive.
