If my Pocket picks up random bits of a nearby side conversation during class, it might transcribe parts of it, incorporate it into the summaries, and tag who it thinks is speaking. I’d like to delete these from the transcript and/or “untag” the speakers. It guesses who’s talking based on my other recordings but of course those tags are wrong because the people it’s picking are not even a part of this class, for example. I’d rather have the segments labeled as a generic “speaker 1” or “untagged,” or better yet, be able to just completely delete those segments from the transcript altogether. Is there a way to accomplish this?
Played around with this a bit more and I did find the “delete speaker” option in the transcript editor. I was afraid that would delete that speaker from ALL recordings, but if I delete it from a transcript it seems to correctly delete it only from that one memory. The issue is if I don’t want to delete the entire speaker, just maybe one or two segments within the transcript labeled as them (essentially “unassign” the speaker for the specific segment).
I still have not been able to figure out how to just remove an entire segment from the transcript though.
hey @javd207 thanks for this feedback attaching @aryanuiux to go through
