In my past several meetings I’ve seen cross-talk misattributed to a single speaker. I’d like to be able to split the transcripts manually. For example if the conversation actually looked like Bob saying “hey how’s it going” and Mary saying “hi folks! what’s up!” at roughly the same time, I’m seeing the transcript say “Bob: hey how’s it going what’s up” with no entry for Mary at all for that exchange even though their voices are different.
hey @Koala.bot any chance you could dm us an example transcript so we can understand this better?
Hey @Koala.bot Yes, you can do this by going to the transcript, clicking where the split should be press the return key. It will separate the content and duplicate the speaker which you can then change to the correct apeaker
The return key isn’t doing anything for me from the browser. Are you doing this on mobile? Update: Confirmed this works on mobile, but mobile is not a convenient place to be editing transcripts. This behavior should work on the browser app where I have access to more screen real estate and a full keyboard.
Yes, it’s in mobile. And yes, we should be able to do it from both desktop and web but those apps are still clearly in beta but I know they are being worked on so it shouldn’t be too long
hey just pushed an initial version of this should show up on your web app in the next 5-10min
Thanks! The only issue I’m seeing with this is the timestamps. When I split a line, it sets both resultant lines to 0:00 instead of the original timestamp from that line.
