How to Delete and/or Edit Custom Templates

Its been a bit of a trial and error struggle but I’ve almost got my output of the AI Summaries just the way I want them. My issue is that I have to keep creating completely new Custom Templates each time. I can’t EDIT a previously created custom template.

Is there a way to edit previously created Custom Templates?

If not, how do I delete them? I’ve got a stack of Custom Templates that are garbage that I want to remove from my system but don’t see how.

Anyone know how?

At the top of your summary, you will see the name of the summary. Click on that get to your custom summary. Once there, find your template at the top. Click the 3 dots and you will see this menu popup

I went to where you said, see the same option, I click the DELETE. It says its deleted the template and yet, they are still there. Refreshed, logged out, etc. They won’t go away. Is there some sort of cache refresh for my account I can hit somewhere?

UPDATE: I am able to do the EDIT feature though as you noted in that option menu. Thank you very much for that. Would just like to delete the “wrong” versions if you have any ideas for that.

hey @Morty just checking whats happening with the delete option here!

I go to custom templates, I hit the 3 dots, I get the pop up menu to Edit, Delete or Duplicate.

If I choose DELETE, it goes through the motions and says its deleting, yet when I come back and look at my list of Custom Templates, it still exists. Not a huge deal for me as I don’t plan to be using multiple Templates for any reason now that I finally shaped the AI in one of my templates just the way I want it. Just would like them gone because they are not templates I want.

Maybe try logging out/in?

I think there may have been an issue due to multiple devices. I was using the app on my phone, the app on my tablet, and via my browser using app.heypocket.

Today more templates got deleted than I ever chose to get deleted but I’m good. I got smart yesterday and typed out my sentences to teach the AI in a Saved MSWord document so tonight I just deleted all my Custom Templates with only my phone connected. Then created a fresh clean Custom Template and copy/pasted my sentences and I have achieved 99% perfection of what I’m going for.

This is going to save me so much time with my reporting. Thank you! (That pending 1% I’m going to go create a new topic to work through it)
