Today, we’re introducing our most powerful tool yet: Ask to Edit

You choose the style: concise, detailed, structured, conversational and Pocket instantly reshapes your summary or action items to match it.

You can now update your app from the App Store to try it out.

And what makes this truly powerful is what happens next:

Every time you customize an edit, Pocket learns. It starts to understand your tone, your structure, your preferences.

Future summaries will come out closer and closer to how you naturally write with fewer taps, and eventually… none at all.

I saw those and thought it was just something I’d missed before, didn’t explore. Now I’m excited.

I found out there is a trick to using this. I wanted it to change the title so I asked it to add “Some Company Name: “ at the beginning and it did this great!

The Summary had a name spelled wrong so I told the AI to: change “Moss” to “Mas” but it didn’t work. Here’s the trick… You need to tell the AI where to change what you want changed.

So, I changed from: change “Moss” to “Mas” to “in the Action Items, change “Moss” to “Mas” and then it worked!

This is a super cool update!

I just found a fast way to select the location where you want to edit something. Click and hold to highlight a section like this

Select Edit Pocket Notes

Then, at the bottom of the screen you will see

Then just type in your edit like I explained above

I’m really enjoying this. I use a lot of Chinese names in my recordings and they are frequently mis-transcribed. This makes it so easy to fix them.
