My intro to the Pocket community

Who I am: I head up the IT division of a multi-location office technology provider. My primary role is Manger of IT & Managed Services.

How I’ll use Pocket: I purchased Pocket in hopes of improving my follow-ups to my online and in-person meetings. I’m a horrible note-taker, so I’m looking to improve my second impressions with clients.

My setup: Most of my online meetings are in Teams/Zoom on my PC unless I’m on-the-go. I’m an Android guy.

One question: How do I convert my “tasks” from a recording summary into scheduled tasks or calendar items?

One request: I wish I could connect other AI platforms. I’ve been a SuperGrok user for months, and I’d love to be able to connect Grok to Pocket.

Hi @Daryl ,

I’m looking into this too! I’ve just started connecting TODOs to my own workflow, and so far I’ve found Google Tasks works (if you’re part of the Google ecosystem).

The nice part about that is that Tasks will ding your phone and has a nice UI on mobile. I’ve set up a Pocket task list and you can choose the default list from the Pocket web app - I haven’t tried from the phone app yet. And you can choose the list in the web UI when you convert it to a Google Task.

Sadly my organization has (so far) blocked access to my corporate Exchange from untrusted clients (which Pocket’s desktop app is), so I’ll keep thinking about how to get it create Outlook TODOs. Suggestions welcome!
