So I added a handle, and left the top open so I can just hit start at a moment’s notice.

Thanks so much! I try to add as much comfort as I can into a stressful job. Also, I wanted to protect it from scratches because I move it around on my desk all day and then put it in my tote bag. The handle was a last minute addition to improve portability, since I don’t often attach it to my phone.

I’m so excited that you are curious about the pattern! :pink_heart: I just did it freehand, but in summary, I did 7 foundation single crochets (fsc). Instead of turning my work, I continued in the back loop around the foundation chain and did single crochet in a spiral until it was tall enough.

Once it was the right height, I chained 1. To make the handle sturdy, I did 8 foundation single crochets right off the edge and then joined it to the opposite side with a slip stitch. The number of stitches would vary depending on the size of yarn and hook used.
