My iPhone 14 case does not allow me to reach the buttons on the side because the MagSafe provided with the Pocket is too thick and causes case to bulge preventing side button access. I need a case that will not bulge and conceal the buttons because the MagSafe is too thick as provided by Pocket. I have seen other threads, but no one addressed my specific concern. Of course, I would want to be sure that the mics will work on the Pocket.
JETech makes some of their cases with a built-in MagSafe ring which should eliminate the need for the add-on ring between the phone and the case.
I have an iPhone 17 with their silicone case, and it works with both normal and call recording modes.
That looks like the ticket because it has its own built-in MagSafe ring, eliminating the bulge that I get from adding the one that the pocket recorder requires. Thanks!
You may have to upgrade your iPhone to one that has a natively built-in MagSafe capability already. I don’t recall whether the iPhone 14 has that. I don’t use the accessory MagSafe provided with Pocket and don’t need to.
It isn’t going to be necessary because I found the perfect case that I highly recommend to everyone. It is made by Smartish and is called the Gripzilla. They;ve got cases for all iphones & no need for the MagSafe form Pocket because their case has it built-in. No bulges & superior holding power. Can’t recommend it enough!
