I’m a construction inspector and curious if there is a way I can pre-load code references and such so that when I talk about something in a summary, such as chlorination disinfection of potable water, the Pocket grabs the code snippet in the Plumbing Code to include in my summary.
Hello!
You can get close to this with a custom summary template and Pocket’s User Profile. Add your jurisdiction and the code editions you work under to your profile, then create a construction-inspection template that asks for an “Applicable Code References” section. Attach the relevant Plumbing Code PDF to the recording so Pocket can retrieve and quote the exact section. We recommend instructing it to include the code name, edition, section, page, and exact wording, and to say when no verified match is found. Please verify citations before using them in an official inspection report.
Thank you. I’ll play around with it. Thanks for pointing me in a direction to play.
And yes, totally verify citations. haha.
