Troubleshooting Day 1 - Subscription, calendar, question re desktop and more

Good morning! So excited to get started with Pocket. I turned it on for the first time this morning. It is very light and streamlined. I’m planning on using it to record/transcribe client meetings, internal meetings and lots of auditory processing/list making as I walk or just not to lose thoughts while I decide the best way to capture them.

But…I’m having a bunch of issues as I try to set it up that I would love some help with - my thanks in advance if someone can direct me to resources or answer my questions. It’s very possible I missed something, but I’m so excited to use this properly that I’m reaching out here.

I purchased pocket with myname@gmail.com and understood that got the free lifetime subscription. When I was setting up, it said that subscription wasn’t found but I decided to go back to that. Now, all I can navigate to is the option to upgrade to the Pro but I can’t see what my actual status is - do I have a subscription or not? Issue #1

Also, trying to understand if there’s a way to access Pocket on my desktop, where I can look at the notes, etc. on my computer and big monitors v only on my phone. Maybe if I have a subscription? I was planning to give my assistant access to Pocket recordings and transcripts so he can review them for action items for me. Maybe there’s another way to do this? I don’t want to have to send him every recording individually! Issue #2

Calendars:

I added my work calendar. I now have calendars for 10 people on my team added to Pocket. Don’t see a way to delete them, just to stop notifications? How do I get those off? Issue #3

I want to use Pocket to add to my work calendar which is connected to another email, myname@workgmail.com (we use Google for Business), so I added that calendar. However, when I try to add an item to the calendar, only the meetings from calendar linked to myname@gmail.com is show up. I can’t see how to toggle to the other calendar. I did try to add an event to my personal calendar, but although the app says it is successful, nothing appears on my calendar. Issue #4

Is there a way to have shortcuts for sending certain types of recordings/notes to certain people/places?

I understand that there is no way to add to calendar from the notes/summary of the recordings at this time. I hope this is in the works, as it will be very helpful.

I am also wondering if there is a way to interact via speech with the notes, or only by typing?

Exact same issue for me as well.

I added my calendar, have 15 people whose calendars are shared with me now in there, and there appears to be no way to remove once they’re added.

Being fixed, watch for the next update

  2. Pocket Desktop is currently in active development. It will record calls and meetings on your desktop, even with headphones. I don’t have a launch date yet, but we’re working on it and will release it soon.
  3. The calendar issue is already noted and will be fixed in the next app update, so keep an eye out.

Hey @ladylysis did you sign up with the email from your Shopify order. We require that for mapping if you have you can just dm me I’ll take a look at it for you

I think I used the same email. My calendar email is different, though.

It should be ladylysis@yahoo.com. Calendar is tararrt@gmail.com.

same issue here I only got 1 month and I used the original email address

hey @ladylysis don’t see accounts registered for any of these emails

If you have used apple sign in it generates an anonymous email id automatically

I have the same issue, logged in with email I used to purchase. Don’t see any founding member promise for unlimited and don’t see the option of the 90 days free pro option as well??

Naw. We just live on these forums and help out the noobs. We’ve asked the same questions and seen the Pocket team answer em so often we can answer em in our sleep.
