I had actually looked at it for a month end of last year but didn’t find any, what looked like real reviews. I didn’t buy it bc, tbh, I didn’t trust it. My wife bought it for me and I received it yesterday and set it up. Prior to doing so I looked for reviews again and found very little. After setting up, I’m positively surprised and excited. With that said, I have a few bits of feedback.
If you want more users, you need more reviews that are independent and not on the site in video format. That’s a clear message on socials and something I felt before I even started. Not having them is what stopped me from buying it.
I’d like somewhere to learn more about any integrations or future integrations. I know there’s a calendar integration but can’t find anything else. I asked the app and it said to go to your support docs. There’s nothing there.
I’d like more information about the pro plan. I did a quick search and it’s hard to understand exactly what I get in the way of the app chat and how that actually works if I were to pay. I currently pay for other AI tools that I could see myself leaving if pocket also acted as a replacement for something like chatgpt to some degree. I’d really need to test out free the pro to be able to determine if pro is worth it to me given the cost is equal to something like chatgpt. Others might assess differently, but personally, I want to use free until I want more features that require pro then get a taste of pro for a month and then make a decision.
I use a phone case on my phone and I did some searching about adding the ring to the outside of my case rather than directly to the phone. It says it should work but has a few caveats. My concern is that if I attach it to my case and it doesn’t work to record calls, I’m not sure I’ll be able to get the ring off and reattach elsewhere etc. I’m not sure how this problem is solved unless you add more rings to the pack but that doesn’t seem like a reasonable request. That’s just some food for thought or maybe a waste bc it’s an issue only I have.
I’m keen to test pocket seriously and will keep providing feedback. Thanks for the awesome tool.
