Export AI actions from a meeting

I’m trying to export the AI generated actions (or Todos, depending on looking at the Android app, or Win desktop app) from a meeting. I tried asking Pocket help (ref. below to what I tried).

Is there somrthing that I’ve missed somewhere?

Thanks,

Mark

Pocket Setup Help

MARK:

Hi,
I’m trying to export a meeting’s actions that were generated as part of the AI summary. When I export the summary, the actions are not included. How can I export the actions for a meeting?
Thanks.

POCKET:

To export the meeting actions, you’ll need to export Action items separately (it won’t come through when you export the summary).

In the meeting view, use the export button (the upward arrow in the lower right) and choose Action items. It downloads as a PDF, and you can copy the text from there if you need it in another format.

One thing to note: the export function only lets you export one thing at a time, so you’ll export the summary and action items in two separate exports.

MARK:

The upward arrow only gives me the link (no export). If I export from the dots menu, I get the AI summary, mind map, audio, and transcription, but no actions, even if I’m on the actions (or 'Todos) tab.

POCKET:

That’s expected right now: the upward arrow is a Share button, so it only gives you a link (not a file download).

To actually export the Actions, you need to use the Export flow (not Share). After you choose what you want to export, tap Export (not Share) to complete the download.

Also, Actions export as a PDF (separate from the summary), and you can copy the text from that PDF if you need it in another format.

So the key is: Share = link, Export = file.

MARK:

No. The export does give the actions list, whether part of the summary, or as a separate file. I get:
Export conversation > then a list of Audio recording, Full transcript, AI summary, Mind map. There are options below each one to export separately, and choose formats, but no mention of actions.

POCKET:

You’re not missing anything - right now the export options you’re seeing (Audio recording, Full transcript, AI summary, Mind map) are the only ones available in that export flow, and Actions are not included there.

Separately, there is a way to export Action items as a PDF, but it’s done from the bottom-right upward-arrow button (the one you’re using), not from the three-dots export menu.

So if that upward-arrow button is only giving you a link for you, Actions export isn’t available in your current view/device setup, even though it exists as a feature in other cases.

Also worth noting: export only lets you export one thing at a time (summary vs action items).

Hey Mark!

We are doing some improvements on this flow. We will introduce a clearer way to export action items directly. You should see some improvements by next week end.

Thanks
