Does anyone know if there is an easy way to automatically export transcripts to a remote location e.g. OneDrive or another cloud location. At the moment am using pocket primarily as a transcription device as I cannot control how Pocket summarises, and I need to give specific instructions that online AI can follow. Any thoughts welcome, thanks, including how to ask pocket to summarise in a particular way.
Not going to be any help for the Exporting feature but depending on the complexity of the AI you want, are you aware you can create customized Themes for your summaries to be generated as?
In the App, click the Settings button, then go down and click SUMMARY, then on that screen click THEMES.
This is where you can try various different pre-made themes. For my needs, though they were great, none of them did what I needed for my Daily Reports at work the way I like to shape my reports. So I had to make a Custom Theme.
On that Themes screen, click the CREATE NEW TEMPLATE button at the top. Give it a nickname and so on. For my reports, they are paragraphs of info and then a Pending/Tracking bullet list at the end. So I had to tell the AI this via the Custom Template. Once done, I saved it. Now go back to one of your summaries on the HOME of the App. Open the summary, top right hit the 3 dots … and on the drop down, choose REGENERATE. On that screen, choose the new Custom Template you made and let it regenerate your Summary based on your customized theme. Need to tweak it a little, go back and Edit that theme, then go rinse and repeat.
Its going to be a little bumpy to think “AI Speak” versus how you would explain something to a human, but once you dial it in and everything happens automatically, its such a huge time saver. Good luck!
That’s awesome Morty. Thank you for the insight on creating new templates. I’m going to try it out.I am also curious about the original question, which was: how do we make these summaries export automatically to a location such as on OneDrive? Does anybody have any insight on that?
Hi @LedgersKelowna welcome to the community! Pocket supports both OneDrive and Google Drive integrations. You can set them up in Settings → Integrations.
