Team, thank you for the very good support, below my feedback after my 1st week of use.
General Judgement
I like the device very much, really appreciate the possibility to have the recording in a separate device and not being linked only to an app on a phone. The real life experience fully support the concept behind the creation of this device. For being an initial development I found the application interface very clean and well thought, generally very good, much better of my expectation. As already suggested, I would also recommend to improve the readability increasing the font size as much as possible, not everyone can read very well characters with such a small font size. I also didn’t have any problem linked to the device recognition, all software and firmware updates went very smoothly. Also the HW behavior never showed any problem, turning off/on, starting/stopping the recordings seemed very reliable.
So in general very satisfied for the general level of the hw/sw platform for this initial launch.
Problems Found
In order of appearance:
1) Summary Export problem (Problem Gravity: low)
Conversation and Summary created with generic speakers assigned. Manual tagging of the speakers. After tagging I regenerated the summary and the speakers are shown correctly assigned in the Summary in the application. Exported the Summary to both PDF or Word and in the exported summary the speakers remains generic (meaning Speaker 0, Speaker 1 instead of the assigned customer Speaker names). No apparent way to have the tagged speakers exported correctly. Annoying issue but actually manageable.
2) Conversation where Summary show sonly the 1st Portion of the call (Problem Gravity: Mid to High)
I got some conversations where the summary reports only the 1st minute or 2 of the discussion. The transcript shows up correctly instead. If you try to regenerate the Summary nothing changes, still the same problem. Very annoying.
3) Lost Conversations (Problem Gravity: Very High)
From my standpoint this is the most serious problem at the moment. I have completely lost at least 2 or 3 important recordings that I’m sure 100% were recorded by the device (or at least were shown as being correctly recorded with the yellow led working in a normal way).I didn’t see this problem in the 1st tests, the issue became visible after several conversations recorded during the day. The last case was the 6th and last conversation of the day but the recording never materialized. After checking the forum and reading about similar cases I followed the suggestion and checked also in Settings using the Look up Device Files function but there is nothing on the device. This is a very serious issue because makes the recording unreliable and the device not fully trustable. When this happened I didn’t see anything unusual vs the successful recordings, meaning normal start of the recording, yellow led, stop of the recording, blue led. This really need more serious debugging.
Of course willing to support the developers as much as needed.
Thank you.
