Fixing the transcription language

The last two messages we have recorded have had their transcription translated into Welsh. Although we are in Wales the recording was made in English.

The app is setup with default language of English - is there a way of forcing the transcriptions to always reflect this - also if they are translated can we easily translate them back.

We think this is the reason the summary being generated does not reflect the content.

Just wondered if anyone has any idea why the device thinks we are speaking Welsh. All transcriptions are being displayed as Welsh - even though everyone was speaking English. And we cannot change the language of the transacriptions.

In the app settings the language is set to English (UK)

If we cannot change this then the device becomes useless to us.

We do not know why the transcriptions are being translated to Welsh.

They were spoken in English and we have set all languages in settings to English.

I have used the REST API to list entries and the language for the transcriptions was “cy” - which is Welsh.

Although we are based in Wales and the transcriptions may well use Welsh placenames and locations we would like the transcriptions to stay in English.

Any ideas?
