Hey there, I just got my device and I couldn’t be more excited to get started. Nonetheless when setting up I wasn’t sure what to choose when it asked for a language. I want my app, summaries and brain map all in English but I will be having conversations in Spanish and Portuguese. Will the transcripts translate? I just selected English but will it understand when I’m speaking a different language?

I have this same issue. Pocket translates when I record a Spanish conversation, but doesn’t transcribe in Spanish. What I really hoped Pocket would do is handle multi-lingual conversation, transcribing in Spanish and in English what was spoken. It seems like it understands the Spanish well, so typing it out wouldn’t be much of a hurdle.

@Macishman The Pocket should generate transcription in Spanish if the language spoken was Spanish, however in summary section, if the selected language is English then it will show the summaries in english. I hope this solves your query, let us know if you still face the same issue.
That’s not what my Pocket did.The sources tab gave me an English translation of what the Spanish speakers were saying. If it had transcribed the Spanish speakers in Spanish and the summary in English as you are suggesting, that would have been perfect. It just did not do that for me. I have only tested it once though.
