I just ordered my Pocket, super excited to use it! However I was wondering how big of a difference will the subscription make?
For someone who wants to use it for meeting & generate summaries and todo as the main priority, I’m not sure if I’d need the subscription.
Can anyone please guide me?
Hey Shree, you can use all the basic features, there are no restrictions for free users. You can still generate summaries, detect meetings, generate to-dos, and more. However, you’ll miss out on templates and the latest AI models for generation. The free plan is still good, but I’d suggest getting Pro since it has its own perks.

If your main use case is meetings, summaries, and to-dos, the free plan is already quite capable. You can record meetings, generate summaries, and create action items without any issues.
With Pro, you mainly get access to better AI models, higher-quality transcription, unlimited Ask Pocket chats, advanced integrations (like Asana, Linear, and ClickUp), cloud sync (Google Drive/OneDrive), and a few extra export options and features.
So I’d say start with the free plan and see if it fits your workflow. You can always upgrade to Pro later if you feel you need the extra features.
