Labels AND tags?

I’m a bit confused. We have “Labels“ for tasks and “Tags“ for memories? Is there any need to use different terms here?

Also, I kind of prefer the UI/UX of labels over tags anyways. I wouldn’t mind if tags were replaced by the labels UI flow.

hey @dps just trying to understand this better. what in the ui/ux of labels do you prefer over tags?

given current development this might not be a change we make in the short term but open to feedback so we can prioritize accordingly

The select label modal pulling up from the bottom feels nice, the color association with labels is also nice. Given they’re almost identical in functionality, I think it’s a little jarring to have different flows for the two.

I was thinking about this too. I agree that the UI for Labels seems to flow better. However, I only added 1 Label.

Maybe I’m missing something.., @mhirrrr and @chay - what were your thoughts behind doing things this way? Is this just the first step in something more?
