@mhirrrr Another UI issue. In the screenshot you can see the bottom of the ‘g’ in summarizing is cut off.
@mhirrrr the clear filter option is cut off at the bottom of the list when trying to filter by speakers. There is no option to scroll down either.
Thanks for flagging these @Dhut1832 . We will fix these in the upcoming release.
The sync statuses are not aligned when uploading from device. The one in the pop window just showed 100 the entire time as the line moved. The status in the background up top was still tracking progress. Not sure which one was correct
Hey! We pushed a build yesterday with small ui fixes
this normally is used to show what you next call is
we have identified the issue here will be fixed in the next build!
I’ve started using the beta, in particular to review the speaker tagging features.
Here’s some initial feedback:
If I’ve taken the time to add speakers into the app, those should be available as a global entry not just for a particular transcript. I don’t like having to re-add the name, in particular my own name since I’m always in the conversation as a speaker name added to a transcript.
To me this indicates that you’re not building global voice profiles. If you were building global voice profiles, then you would have a list of speakers that you could either select from and/or search from when you open a transcript.
Second, if I change from “speaker 0” to a named speaker for a transcript, all of the “speaker 0” segments should update with the speaker that was assigned. I shouldn’t have to go reassign all of ”speaker 0” to the actual named speaker. Yes I’m aware you have bulk speaker assignment, which gets me to point 3.
If you’re going to offer bulk speaker reassignment, that’s great, especially since you have the filter. But put a “select all” at the top so I don’t have to check every single radio button in order to do a bulk reassignment. The current UI is not that much better than clicking on every single speaker name in the transcript. Improve the bulk reassignment by adding a “select all” at the top of the list up near where you have your filter criteria options. It should be to the far left directly above where the individual radio buttons are. These are all fairly standard UI patterns.
When creating a custom prompt, if you enter in a long message it pushes the Update button down behind the keyboard and there’s now way to save it.
we have a build coming out within a hour will make sure this is fixed!
Like the new interface! How do I switch what global profile is assigned to a speaker in a memory/transcript without needing to assign individual lines or doing some kind of merge?
I just want to say kudos to the new app and interface. I just recently went through two days of very heavy pocket usage and I have been very pleased with the updates to speaker tagging, and (very importantly) batch tagging.
I think there is still some improvements and tweaks to be made- but overall it was a major improvement from the initial app offerings and UI
@mhirrrr I wanted to get some clarity in how we should be properly correcting speakers in the transcript.
If I have a conversation where the ai tagged the wrong person. Should I create a new speaker then reassign to the correct name or should I edit the speaker name to the correct person?
Currently I am just editing the name but not sure if it is throwing off the speaker profile on the backend and cause confusion for future AI speaker tagging.
@mhirrrr Also I just discovered that we can merge speakers in the speaker management section now, but when I merge them it still shows the separate names in the list.
Hey @Dhut1832 we will check this out but if you see no segments are applied to the speakers which are merged it should be under the speakers you have merged to
We are identifying the problem as well and fixing it
They just added a new feature that lets you view a Speaker’s conversation by clicking the three dots — it shows where that name appears in your memories. I’ve been asking for this!
So now, if you have two people named “Nate,” for example, you can click the three dots to see their individual conversations. It’s super helpful for making sure you don’t accidentally merge them if they’re different people. Thanks Team!
@mhirrrr Thinking through this, it would be awesome to be able to “undo” a merge and even have a history of say the last 5 merges like we have for summaries
@mhirrrr just letting you know that this is still an issue in build in 5.29 (282).
