Not sure I follow what you mean.
so basically when renaming a speaker. if it already exists somewhere else we give you a warning and you can decide if you want to rename the current speaker/create a new one accordingly

@mhirrrr I think that sounds good. Could even give the option to merge with the found user if it is the same person.
Also could we get the names of speakers listed in alphabetical order. Would be a lot easier to scan through the list and find duplicates because they will all be together.
@mhirrrr just downloaded build 288. Now the keyboard is covering the input box when trying to change the name of the speaker now.
pushed out a fix for this should come up shortly!

@mhirrrr One of my conversions is stuck on this queued for upload screen. I’m killed the app, tried regeneration the conversion but it won’t change
Hey! Can you let us know which version of the app this is? You can see it under software version in the settings (the latest version should be 0.5.29 (290)
This is a known issue in the beta we are going to patch please access the recording using the main App Store/app.heypocket.com meanwhile

@mhirrrr when I try to export the audio file, it’s just saving a txt and not the actual audio file. This just happened with build 290 because it was working fine before.

So actually it is exporting the recording. It’s just exporting a txt in addition to the recording now.
@mhirrrr I’m updating speakers in the transcript and I created a new speaker and reassigned all the incorrect ones. No transcript is assigned to the old speaker, but it still shows the old speaker’s name in the summary. I tried regent the summary and still showed the old speaker.

we just wanted to provide an update on speaker profiles here.
we are currently testing out new methods to improve speaker matching across recordings and improvements should noticeable over next few weeks!
