I’ve had this for the last week and think it’s a good idea but I’ve been on teams and in person meeting where someone will have a task to complete but pocket thinks it’s my task and the summary will say “Aled has xyz to complete” when I haven’t said a word for 10 mins.
Is there a setting I should be changing because even when I go to the summary and ask it to rewrite it without my name it still includes it.
Hi Aled, thanks for flagging this. Pocket shouldn’t assign a task to you simply because you recorded the meeting, and there isn’t a setting you should need to change.
For future recordings, a custom template may help with this instruction:
“Only assign an action item when the transcript explicitly identifies its owner. Never assume the recorder owns it. If unclear, mark it as unassigned.”
You can also correct the speaker from the recording’s Source tab before rewriting the summary. Since Pocket keeps adding your name back even after you correct it, we’d like to investigate that recording. Please DM us your email, the recording link, your platform, and app version.
