Still waiting for mine to ship out, but I see there is an ability to add feature requests now. Can the app import audio and process it? I just spent 2 days in an executive conference with 12 one on one meetings with other business executives, and used my no-name garbage recorder I bought off Amazon… which does a terrible job of summarizing and creates an even worse mind map.
It would be fantastic to be able to compare the results, and also get better summaries by importing into the Pocket app. If this isn’t there, I’ll add it as a feature request.
sglewis - It would be a project and a half, but you could set your Pocket to record, and play the recordings from your other device. However, I hope that you’ll be able to import the two days of audio. Good luck!
Correct. I doubt that any of us has time to painstakingly play our old audio files just so the Pocket device can record them. That alone would compel even the most enthusiastic Pocket fan to pick up one of the many competing devices.
Currently, I have two other hardware devices (each with its accompanying app), as well as several other app-only options, and all of them feature the ability to import audio. That should be a standard core feature.
