What’s the recommendation on making sure the highest capacity of the battery maintains for years? Should we let it run all the way down and then charge or should we be charging this daily/frequently even when it’s above 90%?
Thanks and FYI loving my Pocket so far with its transcriptions and summaries! lol

You should avoid ever running a lithium-ion battery down completely. That, along with leaving them somewhere very hot, is one of the worst things you can do.
Beyond that, there is a fair bit of disagreement about the best way to take care of a battery. Almost all modern devices will stop charging when they reach 100%. This allows the device to cool down a little. Some people say that you should never charge things over 80%. I don’t agree. Charging them every day is fine.
Batteries are consumable. They will eventually run out of capacity. There isn’t a whole lot you can do to change how fast that happens. Sure, you might be able to eke out a month or two more. Personally, I opt to use my devices and not micromanage them. You may disagree with me. And that’s okay.
