Recording phone calls when using bluetooth headset?

Hi all

for phone call mode, how does the pocket record via vibration if i use bluetooth headset or headphones to talk instead of putting the phone to my ear ?

Hey @urbanslider!

Currently, Pocket doesn’t support Bluetooth headsets. Since the device relies on vibrations, it needs to be attached to your phone in call mode and use the phone’s microphone.

You can try the desktop app though: Download the App
— it allows recording calls when using headphones.

I was searching the threads and happen to stumble across this. Just to clarify, so I understand:

If I have Bluetooth headphones connected to my Mac laptop and start a phone call and begin recording within the Pocket desktop app, both my audio and the other speaker’s voice will be captured in the Pocket recording?

Yes @nibc220, that’s correct! When you record a call using the Pocket desktop app on your Mac, it will capture both your audio and the other speaker’s voice—even when you’re using Bluetooth headphones.
