A few times I have ended up with very long accidental recordings, presumably from the record button accidentally being pressed while in my Pocket. A lock function would be useful, perhaps by cycling the “mode” slide switch a few times within two seconds. The indicator could flash to show it was locked. It could be taken out of lock by cycling the slide switch again, or a double press of the record button.

You can turn Pocket off by holding down for ~5 seconds. In an off state accidental presses won’t start/stop recording.
That does sound a much simpler solution, and one I should really have thought of myself - thanks!
