Start and stop recording

Anyone else having issues with starting and stopping a recording using the device button? I have to use the app now to start and stop a recording.

Mine had that issue for starting only. After holding the button to (I think) power off and on, it’s working well again. For 2 days though, i had to click through the app to start. Stopping with the button worked fine though. Hope this helps

Yes, I have. I also have attempted to turn the device off, but no luck.

FYI, I had the issue again today. I clicked the button and it vibrated but Pocket did not start recording. I missed recording the meeting bc when i pressed to turn the Pocket off, i noticed the light turn Yellow! Not Blue! Argh, it missed everything.

Yes having the same issue. I noticed it started after a recent iPhone update.

Having same issue. I can no longer activate record by pressing the physical button. This started after a recent Pocket update. Currently running Firmware 1.2 and WiFi Firmware V6.

Using an Iphone 15 pro max running 26.2.1

Most recently it also stops recording randomly and will “lose” whatever has been recorded thus far. For example, I used the app to start a recording today. It was recording as I could see the words appearing in the trasncription window. After approx 5 minutes the status light turned back to blue and there was no record of any recording or transcript withint the app.
