Sync brings in [partial but unusable] notes from another user

This morning I went to sync my notes into my pocket app and have it start the transcription but the summary says that there was a Norwegian speaker talking… I live in Canada and all conversations would be in either English or French and this conversation would have been in English - is there an issue with syncing and pulling in other people’s notes?

The first time I synced the note it talked about someone [a user’s name] asking if it was ok to record the conversation…

The second time I synced it said that the person was speaking in Norwegian…

To reassure people - the segments transcribed didn’t translate the foreign language and neither version contained anything priviledged or private (other than the users name- that I have already deleted)…. basically unusable.

Is there anyway to listen to the note to hear the recording so that we can make corrections to the transcription done by Pocket?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Sincerely,

S. Wilson (createpei).

Hey @createpei, we assure you there is no way other people’s notes are being given to you — we have end-to-end encryption mechanisms that make that impossible. It could just be that the output isn’t great given mixed language, which can cause poor transcription results. I’d suggest going into the 3 dots on the top → Transcription to view and listen to it so you can see if there are any issues. For better performance with mixed language, I’d suggest upgrading to the Pro plan, as we use a better transcription model on that tier.
