@Brayton We appreciate that.
About Grok: We’re not ruling anything out. The whole point of Pocket is to stay model-agnostic and always use the best available for each task. If Grok proves solid - fast, accurate, and competitive - we’ll absolutely consider integrating it. Whatever serves the user best.
Right now we prioritize GPT-4, Claude, and Gemini but the stack’s modular. Grok could slot in when it earns its spot.
I would love to see perplexity if possible
On the website and some of your marketing , it seems to suggest Pocket automatically decides which GPT to use. Is that correct or do we manually select?
@SM7 Yes, Pocket automatically decides which AI model (like GPT-4, Claude, or Gemini) to use - you don’t have to choose manually.
It always runs the best model available for the task. So you’re not stuck with one provider, it picks the smartest option for what you’re trying to do. You can also manually change and regenerate.
Thanks @pete-w! That’s awesome!
Curious, do I need subscriptions to each one of these AI’s to make use of these functions?
@DavidHarmonKY some come with Pro but lots of models are already included for free for early adopters.
Is there a way to integrate my current OpenAi subscription into pocket?
OpenAI doesn’t let you do that sadly
GPT-4, or GPT-5? Some places (like the hey pocket home page) seem to say GPT-5, while other places say GPT-4. Clarification? Guessing it might just be outdated since GPT-5 only recently came out? Just confirming ![]()
Both are available on the App. Some people just love GPT-4o, myself included
Ok, so it’ll be up to the user? I was envisioning something that kind of just automatically selected an AI based on need/context, as opposed to user selected? I guess user selected makes more sense for that? Since everyone’s got different preferences I imagine. Idk, thinking out loud and trying to imagine what this will be like haha.
If you have a subscription to one of the Ai’s will it use your subscription? I’m thinking of having it show up for that subscriptions memories.
No, Unfortunately that’s not how the other AI’s work
Akshay, could you add it to the list of future things to develop. It would be really nice to have pocket utilize any subscriptions the user would have.
While I’m not a programmer and could be way off, my understanding is that limitation is more about the individual AI’s and their API (like OpenAI), rather than something Pocket can address themselves.
Hi. Akshay! Will there by Gemini 2.5 Pro (best for marketing requirements) and Claude’s new Sonnet 4.5? They are my TOP currently used AI’s. Claud in Antropic and Gemini in Perplexity. Also, is there Sonar (Perplexities model)?
