Airpods with Pocket

All,

Thank you for letting me join. I have used my pocket only on the table in a meeting. I want to start using my AirPods with the call mode on. If I have them in call mode and on my phone, can I still use my AirPods, or does it have to be me talking directly into the phone/speakerphone? Or has anyone tried this?

TIA

Kendig

Hi @ckmansfield, welcome to the community!

AirPods aren’t currently supported with Pocket’s Call Mode. When a call is routed through AirPods, the other person’s audio doesn’t play through the phone, so Pocket’s contact microphone can’t capture it—you’ll likely record only your side.

To capture both sides, attach Pocket to the back of your phone, switch it to Call Mode, and take the call through the phone normally. You don’t need to use speakerphone.

will this feature be added? I remember a conversation about this in the past. That would be EXTREMELY useful. I basically use airpods for call only - handfree.

I agree I take meetings on my phone all the time and use my airpods because I am normally in an airport or traveling for work .
