Not sure about others but I’d really like the Pocket app to have a smartwatch integration, very simple for notifications and most importantly to me, record start and stop. I carry my Pocket in my pocket, separate from my phone (my intention was to never have it attached to the back of my phone because I’m not giving up my loop case!) and instead of having to pull my phone out and start recording through the app or pressing the record button on Pocket, it would be awesome to just tap a toggle on my watch to start/stop recording.
Have you tested how well the Pocket will work if it’s in your Pocket?
It worked pretty great, actually. BUT, I have it clipped to my pants pocket with the microphones up and not covered at all. I recorded for an entire 10 hour day at work yesterday just to see how it would do and was pretty impressed with the transcripts. Some parts weren’t even close to what was said but mostly it was good.
Also, when I listened to the audio file, I was very impressed with the clear quality of it.
I’d post a photo of the clip I attached to it how I carry my Pocket but I see no way to upload a photo here and don’t have a reliable photo hosting site to link to.

Excellent and thanks! I couldn’t even see that because the chat bubble is in the way. Sure wish I could get rid of it! It’s almost impossible to tap the upload button with the chat bubble blocking it; it takes 5 or 6 tries to get it.
That’s really interesting. If it works while in a pocket, a Watch app makes good sense.
Where did you get that clip? Although I often have mine attached to my phone; it’s not always convenient.

They don’t make them anymore (I still have some from other items I used to use them on) but this is the replacement they have. It’s from Nite Ize.
