Not getting any founding member benefits. Also I thought I was supposed to get pro for life as an early founding member? What the heck?

Been following this forum and other brand communication closely. We were never promised pro for life. We were promised free transcription, summaries and basic mind maps for free. A few people are not seeing their benefits on their app because they might have logged into the app using an email ID different from the one they used to order.
Got it. It would be very helpful if I could look up the information myself like I tried to!
Although as you can see, I am not considered a founding member in the forums like I should be… and I used the same email.
Probably something that @mhirrrr can look into for you. The team is doing a bang up job keeping up with messages and acting upon it.

I second this and specifically because I was under the same initial impression, pro for life.
I’ve been backing these guys for quite some time (and happy I did!). After finding one of my original communications I confirmed the offering of unlimited transcribes. Pro was never promised for free… would have been awesome, but love it so far nonetheless!
I think the wording for early early backers was pro for life. I suspect they backtracked that somewhere along the way and have stuck to their revision. Didn’t take screenshots, but feel quite confident I saw the same thing.
@dps Just to clear the air, that’s absolutely not the case 
From the very beginning, we’ve always communicated that early pre-orders receive Pocket core features for life, and that’s never changed or been walked back.
We also clarified that there would be an optional Pro subscription for those who want to explore more advanced tools but you’ll never need a subscription to use Pocket’s core features.
I hope this clears the air, as there seems to be a bit of misinformation going around.
That’s what I remember seeing as well. That’s pretty typical with many companies and boot strapped products.
I also agreed with someone else on here suggesting $5 Pro for founding members instead of $20. We all are, after all, the spokespeople for this product. Not sure I would pay $20 per month but I would definitely pay $5.
And just to add to all this as further proof. We started offering annual Pro subscriptions at a discounted rate as an optional upsell back in early June 2025 (many folks took advantage of that). Meanwhile, Founding Member pre-orders closed on September 22, 2025.
How could we have been selling Pro subscriptions at that time if we had promised Pro features for life?

@pete-w tanks for the response. @Mitch_Young yeah I been around from early summer and I went back for ALL my communications. As much as it would’ve been great to have pro forever, that was NOT the case. Mind u there was some miscommunication, as well as plenty misunderstandings of feature, time frames, what founding members got etc. What I appreciated the most is how FLEXIBLE and how many EXTRA not promised features we get. We are soooooo far ahead of anyone getting/ordering their pocket now. Makes me wish I ordered more at least for my wife even 
And what they are getting feature for feature is still ahead of competitors. And as they adjust it seems the willingness to add features and integration just from requests is crazy. All that does is make their product stand out more. Then you gotta remember they are a STARTUP 
once this things is fine tuned people would love to get the things we have for life. I’m saying all this as I patiently wait for my very own. Was I ALWAYS this way? Nope. But had a conversation wit my parents (whom I’m fortunate enough to have around) and they said if this does wat it should for me I could be reborn!!! As a paramedic instructor this very well might change how we develop new ways to save lives. For that I will gladly wait. Thanks for everything

Storage location – By default, recordings are stored locally on the device (128GB of onboard storage). You can also choose to sync them to the cloud.
Cloud capacity – With the base Pocket (no subscription), you get 90 days of cloud history included for free. There’s no limit on minutes or GB during that period — after 90 days, older files roll off the cloud but remain on your device unless you delete them.
Retention period – Free cloud storage keeps recordings for 90 days. With the Pro subscription, cloud history is unlimited, so nothing gets deleted unless you remove it.
Cost & subscription – Cloud storage for 90 days is included free with your device purchase. Unlimited cloud history is part of Pocket Pro ($19.99/month or $149/year promo). If you stop paying for Pro, your account reverts to the free 90-day cloud window — older files in the cloud will roll off, but anything stored locally on your device stays there unless you delete it.
Limits – There are no limits on the number of recordings or transcription minutes for pre-orders — both are unlimited. The only limit is the physical storage capacity if you’re keeping everything locally.

I could have sworn I used to have “founding member” under my name and I made a post about founding members a couple of days ago; now I can’t find it. Can someone please advise?
