Most of my meetings are virtual and I’m wearing a headset. This makes pocket way less useful for me as it’s unable to record meetings that are not happening live or if it cannot hear the other people speak. A pocket app that can listen in on virtual meetings or be able to import transcripts would be awesome. Are there any plans to add this capability?
i’ve read in this forum that they are building a desktop app that will work on your computer and it will pick up incoming and outgoing sound even if you’re using a Bluetooth headset on your computer, excited for that.
So a work around that I used today: We utilize Microsoft Teams for meetings at work. I have teams also on my cell phone. While in the office, I joined teams on my cell phone and turned the headset volume up (not speaker but headset as if you were holding to your ear), put Pocket in Call Mode and just laid the phone down on my desk to record. I joined the meeting on my laptop and just used it with my headset as any other meeting. Once I finished I ended the meeting on my phone, stopped recording on pocket and let it summarize my meeting. Notes came out fine. I’ll probably continue doing so until a better solution is provided.
