What determines the paper size of the exported files?

I exported a meeting from Pocket on the web. The PDF of the transcript is 28.63 inches x 100 inches (portrait orientation) and is illegible. The PDF of the summary is 100 inches by 29.78 inches (landscape orientation) but is legible. The action items came in at a usable 8.5 x 11 document.

Is this controllable?

I’m using the information for projects, but the files are pretty much worthless in their exported forms.
