I just recorded a conversation, and afterwards went to my Pocket app to import it. It did not find any files to import. I can confirm the amber LED was on the entire convo. I tried doing another brief recording to see if it would force the app to find the original one, but to no avail. Not sure how to recover this memory
âCheck for new memoriesâ in settings did not find it either.
hey @dps looks like this was solved could you let me know?
@mhirrrr Iâm afraid not. I signed out and back in - thinking it found the memory, but instead I believe it re-synced memories I had previously deleted. Still not sure where this one went. Checked the trash bin in case it somehow ended up there, but also not there.
I checked it was recording multiple times during the conversation and saw amber LED every time
Tried recording a few more, and now it seems many of them are not being found or synced.
that shouldnt be happen @dps can you mail us a video at hey@heypocket.com to make it easier for us to check whatâs happening
Ill take a look at it immediately
Just sent an email, it seems to happen when the Pocket itself is âofflineâ and disconnected from the phone. When reopening the app and reconnecting, the memory is gone
hey guys! if you do ever face this we have a âLookup Device Filesâ functionality in the settings page so you can go look at the raw recording files in the device
we are figuring out why our sync did not show all file as it should but the above option can be used as a backup!
Omg! Lost two recordings today! Had one long meeting with a pause in between for a confidential topic so split in two. During recordings the firmware update tried to load. Couldnât get it to recognize the recordings existed. Kept saying no new memories. Looked at the raw files (thanks for the tip!!) and they were both there but logged under tomorrow, 11/6. No idea why they logged in the future but they synced when manually forced from the raw files. Thank you so much!
hey @Ltm thanks for this we will make sure this experience gets better!
Itâs really great. Genuinely enjoying it. Nothing is perfect and I only posted here to say thanks for the workaround. A great flow is one thing but redundant systems and backup plans are vital. Very appreciated.
