Received my Pocket yesterday!
Setup went smoothly. It saw me as a founding member and gave me 3 month of pro. I had prepaid for a year, which was not showing up, so I emailed support and they are working that out.
I did an initial recording where I just recorded some short thoughts on a project and was pleased with the summary outcome and mind map. I tried regenerating it with a new summary and that worked well.
I then recorded our speaker at church that evening. 41 minutes of recording.
After syncing and giving it some time to do it’s thing, there was no summary and it said there was no voice on the recording.
I tried a couple more things. I the audio from a video playing on my phone. I did this 3 ways: with the pocket connected to the back of my phone, with the pocket not connected to my phone, and with the pocket connected to my phone - phone call switch on - and the volume very low
Again, none produced summaries. So I went to the tried and true: Stop the app and restart it
Bingo! They all showed up with their summaries and mind maps!
The summaries for each test were great. And the summary from the speaker was spot on. I’m really glad about that since I plan to take this to our leadership summit and conferences.
I don’t have a lot of phone conversations, so I have not tested that part yet.
