Deeper troubleshooting Pocket pairing

I received my Pocket and have been unable to pair it with my phone. (Galaxy 24FE)

Basic troubleshooting steps have already been attempted.

  • Pocket:
    Charged up

Turned off and back on again

    Blinking blue light

  • Pocket App:

    Installed, updated

    Cleared cache

  • Bluetooth:

Turned off and back on again

  • Phone:

    Charged

Turned off and back on again

Other:

  • I’ve tried connecting it directly via Bluetooth instead of through the app but it does not show up as an available device.

  • The connection never gives a failure alert, it just spins on the pocket pairing screen indefinitely. I’ve left it run for more than 15 minutes.

I tried to Bluetooth connect to my tablet also and I can see the device I think but the app isn’t compatible with my Fire tablet so I can’t confirm if it works.

I did work with the Pocket troubleshooting team and they are sending out a replacement device, but I’m skeptical about that being the solve.

Anyone else having these issues?

I’ve had zero issues with my device. (Helpful I know) With your phone your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are on? Does the pocket device show up at all in the app? It had me press and hold the button to turn it on. If your pocket is already on maybe turn it off and wait to be prompted to turn it on?

Pretty sure support would have had you run through that stuff but give it a shot.

Yes, having the same issue. Unable to pair with the app on Samsung s22, and unable to discover device via Bluetooth. Let me know if you find any work arounds.
