Got my pocket last week. The last couple of nights it has started recording randomly in the middle of the night. I asked ask pocket about it to find out why it’s doing this and it’s saying that my voice activation sensitivity may be too high and that I need to turn that down in the settings on my device. I looked in settings but I don’t see anything about voice activation. Does anybody have any ideas why my pocket may be recording in the middle of the night when I haven’t pushed the button?

Unfortunately emailing hey pocket was a little less than helpful because the email asked me to take a short video of the unprompted recording happening however it’s happening in the middle of the night while I am asleep so I’m not able to take a video of that. It didn’t happen last night, but had happened the two nights prior. I woke up to it having been recording for 2 hour or so prior to my alarm going off.

yeah I’m having the same issue. In the middle of the night it turns itself on and records for 4 hours or so.
Just to give you an update… This is still happening. My Pocket started recording at 12:13 AM (I was sound asleep), recorded for 4 hours and 59 minutes, stopped, then started recording again at 5:13 AM (I was still asleep), recorded for another 4:59, which I didn’t realize, as I wasn’t paying attention to the device. It stopped itself after the 4:59, then started again at 10:13 AM for another 4:59, stopped and started again at 3:13 PM. I finally realized it was recording 2:54 minutes later and turned it off. It doesn’t do this every day, but probably once or twice every couple of weeks. Any ideas why?
Also I have not deleted the recordings in case they can help you determine why this is happening. They are all from 3/18/26.
