Pocket Web is live (Beta)! And Happy Halloween! 🎃

Pocket Web is finally here, just in time for Halloween! :ghost:

You can now log in to app.heypocket.com and access your conversations directly from the web.

This first version is mostly view-only, but it’s the beginning of something big. We released it early because it’s been one of the most requested features from the community.

Over the next few weeks, Pocket Web will go through a complete revamp: a sleeker UI, faster performance, and more features like exporting conversations, editing tools etc.

:magic_wand: Important: Use the same login method and email you used on the mobile app.
For example, if you signed in with Apple, use Apple Sign-In here too, and make sure it’s the same email linked to that login method.

We’re building this together. Keep your feedback coming at feedback.heypocket.com.

Happy Halloween :jack_o_lantern:

One of the best things about being an early adopter of a product with a great team of developers!!!

Y’all don’t understand how big this is. We have a team that listens to the users! They take our comments. They take our feedback and actually, genuinely respond!! Plus! They actually did it! It’s amazing!

I’m apart of another (similar) product and their support took 10 days to just respond to a super basic ticket request. The Pocket team is very user centric and that init of itself, the best thing ever.

Completely agree! For such a small team, I’ve really never seen so much forward momentum in so little time! Thanks team!

Love the web app addition and am looking forward to its evolution!

I checked it out as I’m having challenges with the summary showing in the phone app (I’m getting the ‘hang tight’ and reported the issue elsewhere) - glad to see them show up in the web app in the interim!

Anyhoo -

If the conversation is regenerated in the phone app, and/or a different summary version is selected, is the web app updated to match? Aka, are items kept in sync. If I have an android phone, ipad, and pc - and the web app loaded across all - is there cross platform syncing?

Will we eventually be able to in the web app?

  1. regenerate summary ?
  2. correct / edit transcript?
  3. export or save file locally? (I can cut and paste, but quick clicks are welcomed)

Awesome work - and love how responsive the team is in resolving, talking through, or fixing on the fly. Great job and much appreciated.

hey @Sassa just confirming the phone issue was fixed on the latest version.

also eventually the web app will be as comprehensive as the mobile app barring some features

For some reason when I try to log in, I get a failed to send code message. Any idea why? I verified I’m using the same email address as I used on the pocket app and when I bought the device.

It works on my phone browser, but not on my browser on the work pc. It may be my companies network security.

hey @eburrell it would basically be the firewall from your companies security preventing us from sending otp!

How long does it take for the web app to sync up with the mobile app (iPhone for me)? I just regenerated a conversation and it doesn’t match between the apps.

As a side note, it would be great if the web app would show the Summary version

hey @SM7 we will add summary versions to the web app. so you can take a look at all of them will update here as soon as its done
